PR3TTY P1CKS is a song request queue for live streamers. Two very different kinds of people show up in it, and they are treated differently throughout this policy.
Streamers sign in and choose to use it. Viewers ask for songs in a streamer's chat and may never have heard of this service. Viewers did not agree to anything, so their information is kept to the minimum the queue needs and is never published anywhere they did not already appear.
Nothing here is sold. There is no advertising.
PR3TTY P1CKS is operated by HaloAuras LLC, California, United States. For anything in this policy, including access and deletion requests, contact jacquie@haloauras.com.
Signing in
Sign-in uses your Google account. What is stored is your Google account identifier, your name and your email address. The identifier is what your account is keyed on; the name and email exist so you can recognise your own account and be contacted. No password is ever seen or stored, and nothing else from your Google account is requested.
Your settings and your stream
Your queue settings, themes, request limits, moderator list, and the history of what was requested and played on your streams.
From your computer
A small program runs on your own machine so charts can be downloaded into the right folder. It reports an index of your song library — song titles, artists and file identifiers — along with the folder it is watching and whether it is currently running.
No audio, no chart files, and no other contents of your computer are uploaded. The program reads the folder you point it at and nothing else.
When you ask for a song in a streamer's Twitch or TikTok chat, this is stored:
- your display name and the identifier the platform gives you
- the message you sent and which platform it came from
- which song it matched, and what the streamer did with it
This is kept across streams so the app can recognise people who come back and show the streamer who their regulars are. That recognition is the feature; without history it cannot work.
It stores what you type publicly in a chat you chose to type in. It does not read private messages, has no access to your account, and cannot see anything you did not post in that chat.
Your information belongs to the stream you posted in. It is not pooled across streamers, not used to build a profile of you, and not shown to anyone but that streamer and their moderators.
Three things could make information visible beyond the streamer's own screen. All are off unless the streamer turns them on, and all can be turned off again at any time.
- The live directory. A streamer may choose to be listed publicly while broadcasting. The listing shows their channel name, that they are live, a count of songs played, and a viewer count read from the platform. It never shows who requested anything, and never names a song.
- Requester names on the overlay. A streamer may choose to show who asked for a song on their on-stream overlay. That makes a display name visible to everyone watching, exactly as it already is in chat. Off by default, because it exposes viewers rather than the streamer.
- Nothing else. There is no public song list, no public request history, and no public profile for any viewer or any streamer.
If you asked for early access, we hold your email address and which platforms you said you stream to. That is used to contact you about access and for nothing else. It is not sold, not shared, and not added to any other list. Reply to any message, or email the address above, and it is deleted.
This website does not count visits, does not use advertising cookies, does not track you across other websites, and does not build a profile of you.
Every item above exists to make the product work: to sign a streamer in, to keep each streamer's data separate from every other streamer's, to match requests to songs, to show a queue on an overlay, to recognise returning viewers, and to get chart files onto the right machine. It is also used to find and fix faults. It is not used for anything else.
Stored and served by companies acting on HaloAuras LLC's behalf:
- Convex — the database the queue lives in
- Vercel — hosting for the app and this website
- Google — sign-in only, at the moment a streamer signs in
- Sentry — error reporting, so faults are visible without anyone having to report them
Nothing is sold, rented or given to advertisers. Information would be disclosed otherwise only if the law required it, and only to the extent it required.
If HaloAuras LLC is ever sold or merged, information may transfer as part of that. Anyone with an account would be told before it happened.
Information is processed in the United States. If you are elsewhere, including the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area, using the service means your information is transferred there. The providers above are used because they maintain appropriate safeguards for those transfers.
A streamer's account data is kept while the account exists. Viewer records are kept while the streamer they belong to has an account, because returning-viewer recognition depends on history. Chat messages that never became a request are kept while the streamer they were posted to has an account.
Ask for an account to be deleted and everything belonging to it goes, including the viewer records attached to it.
Whoever you are and wherever you are:
- ask what is held about you and get a copy
- ask for anything wrong to be corrected
- ask for it to be deleted
- object to how it is used, or withdraw consent where consent is the basis
- disconnect Google access at any time from your own Google account settings
Viewers can ask too, and do not need a streamer's permission. Email the address above with the platform and the display name you use.
California residents have rights under the CCPA including the right to know, the right to delete, and the right to opt out of sale. Nothing is sold. Nobody is ever charged differently or given a worse service for exercising any of these rights.
UK and EEA residents: HaloAuras LLC is the controller. Information is processed on the basis of performing the service requested, of legitimate interests in keeping the service working and secure, of consent where consent was given, and of legal obligation where one applies. You may complain to your local supervisory authority.
Access is controlled by sign-in, each streamer's data is separated on the server, and credentials are held as environment configuration rather than in code. This is early software built by one person, and no service can promise perfect security. If something goes wrong that affects your information, you will be told rather than left to find out.
This is not intended for anyone under 13, and accounts are not knowingly created for them. If you believe a child's information is held here, email the address above and it will be removed.
The app connects to Twitch and TikTok, and can download chart files from third-party catalogues. Those services have their own privacy policies and this one does not cover them.
If this policy changes in a way that matters, the date at the top changes and anyone with an account is told before it takes effect.
This policy is governed by the laws of the State of California, United States.
